American sportswear label Oakley has officially opened its second retail store. Located on London’s Carnaby Street, the launch was attended by England striker and Oakley athlete Alessia Russo, who was on-hand to greet fans and welcome them to the new space.

The new location aims to uphold the Oakley’s contemporary design philosophy while harmonising with the pre-existing Covent Garden location. Decked out with imagery of Paris Saint-Germain and France footballer Kylian Mbappé, who became an Oakley brand ambassador in January 2022, visitors will be able to shop from a range of key eyewear models, including styles from the Kato, Sutro and Holbrook line, as well as apparel, footwear and accessories.

In a statement, Stefano Melani, General Manager of Luxottica Retail UK, said: “We are pleased to be opening our latest store on Carnaby Street, the heart of London’s retail offering. The store will help bring our community physically closer to Oakley’s brand DNA.”

Alessia Russo commented: “Oakley has always been at the forefront of pushing boundaries and always celebrates who we are as individuals. It’s such a privilege to officially open the Carnaby Street store.”
