Outdoor innovator Merrell 1TRL has joined forces with Colorado-based designer Nicole McLaughlin for a new footwear collaboration, delving into the label’s archives to create The Moc-Laughlin.

The Moc Speed Streak, a hero style reintroduced from Merrell 1TRL’s historical and storied inventory, takes its inspiration from McLaughlin’s Jungle Mic-collecting father, and her passion for innovative design. Taking on the style in “Black/Amber”, “Birch/Hiviz” and “Coyote/Olive”, all three colourways are crafted with a mix of premium recycled suede and mesh, as well as a neoprene stretch collar and heel pull tab.

Inside, the silhouette features Cleansport NXT™ for odor control and a 50% recycled removable EVA foam footbed. Boasting a EVA foam midsole, with 20% recycled EVAflecks, the design is completed with Merrell’s sticky rubber outsole for superior traction, ensuring secure, environmentally responsible stepping odour.
