London-based streetwear label maharishi has recently unveiled a fresh line-up for Fall/Winter 2023, showcasing a fusion of Eastern inspirations and Western craftsmanship, complemented with references to military uniform.

Coming in the brand’s signature earth tones, the collection features two updated versions of the brand’s Hakama pants. Reimagined for the new season, the stone-washed bottoms had been made from cotton poplin for a complete retro feel. Elsewhere the the brand’s classic M65s are reimagined with additional gussets and articulation, allowing for extra room for those who want to explore tricky terrains.

Additionally, seasonal outerwear and trouser styles feature new Fire Phoenix and Peace Crane motifs, while hand embroidery is used to complement maharishi’s staple Original Snopants. Teaming up with one of Britain’s most historic mills, Abraham Moon & Sons, the Fall/Winter 2023 offering also includes camp collars which are made from melton wool.

Lightweight shirt silhouettes complete the collection, arriving with Hanten-style closures, akin to U.S. Army advisor uniforms from the ‘60s.
