Exploring the realm of industrial workwear, Hardy Blechman’s heritage streetwear label, maharishi, has dropped its new campaign for Fall/Winter 2023. Directed by Albert Sala, the editorial showcases the imprint’s seasonal clothing styles against the backdrop of London’s metropolitan landscape.

Here, maharishi’s MIL-SPEC textiles take centre stage, giving rise to a range of weather-resistant silhouettes meticulously fashioned from Cordura®, NYCO® and Alpex®’s waterproof fleece materials. Hanko-style prints and Pax Cultura symbols also serve as an homage to the Edo-era Japanese firefighters who once donned hikeshi-banten coats with mythical creatures for protection.

In addition, the capsule draws inspiration from the uniform worn by construction workers, incorporating Hi-Vis paneling and surplus-fabric patchwork into several outfits. Utilitarian trousers and bright orange coats are among the standout pieces. In the realm of shirting, cargos and smocks, functionality reigns supreme with ample pockets and robust construction.

You can cop the maharishi Fall/Winter 2023 collection now from the brand’s webstore.
