French fashion house Jacquemus has teamed up with Tekla for a collection of sleepwear pieces and products for the home. Rooted in the shared values held by both brands, the whimsical capsule combines Jacquemus’ playful approach with Tekla’s signature pieces.
Captured against the dramatic landscape of Nonza beach in Corsica by long-time collaborator Philip Messmann, items from the debut team-up are served in a consistent colour palette and print reflective of Tekla’s classic offerings, such as percale bedding, terry towels and poplin sleepwear.
A two-person towel and a strapless top inspired by men’s boxers bring a playful nature to the collaboration, along with a bathrobe rendered with an exaggerated belt and button-through closure. Sleepwear-inspired pieces including tops, shorts, a bra and a bandana are also added to the line-up, while more functional details like removable co-branded canvas tags on bedding round things out.
“This collaboration between our two brands came naturally and spontaneously,” says Simon Porte Jacquemus in a press release. “I have always dreamed of developing a bedding and homewear line, with TEKLA it was the perfect match. I’m a great fan of the brand and I feel we share the same universe and inspirations.”
Charlie Hedin, founder and creative director at Sweden’s Tekla, adds: “Much like Tekla, Jacquemus represents a modern approach to luxury, one that’s inclusive and focused on beautiful pieces that are made to the highest standards.”
