Helly Hansen’s HH-118389225 code name, “ARCHIVE”, returns for the Spring/Summer 2023 season to build on foundations of the brand’s mountaineering heritage via new colourways and multi-functional pieces which fall in line with 118389225’s spiritual core of modularity.
Titled The Mountain Code, the collection itself pays reference to the key inspiration of the season—the Mountain Rescue Teams that use and trust Helly Hansen’s outdoor gear on a daily basis. Dressed in a slew of pastel tones, each silhouette has been designed to meet the demands of both the rugged landscapes and urban dwellings and house a range of functional details which cater to the needs of any given circumstance.
Highlights include the the ARC Emergency Poncho, a multi-functional poncho which features a reflective rescue blanket interior that doubles as an emergency shelter and tarp or a protective blanket on wet ground. The ARC Modular Trail Coat also serves as one of the line’s key pieces, which takes inspiration from the Ægir Offshore Smock, and comes complete with many of the technical details found on Helly Hansen’s mountain rescue gear.
Elsewhere the ARC Breeze Jacket takes its cues from the ARC Half Zip Smock, while the ARC Trail Shirt—a short sleeved button-down shirt—comes complete with side entry pockets, a concealed zip chest pocket, interior cord and webbing fastenings.
