GUESS USA has just revealed its Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, led by Nicolai Marciano and shot by Eli Russell Linnetz. Centred around the brand’s artisanal collection, the offering builds on the experimental design techniques, fabric treatments and boundary-pushing silhouettes that have been definitive core values of the imprint since its inception.
The collection continues to make use of GUESS USA’s signature vintage denim and cracked leather treatments. What’s more, trucker jackets and wax-coated shorts arrive with heavy distressing and shredded hemlines, while a patchwork denim skirt makes for a standout piece. Other outerwear highlights include a white biker jacket embellished with postcard graphics, a patchwork leather jacket, and a varsity coat complete with an authentic graphic pulled from the GUESS archive.
In the realm of knits, distressed pieces take centre stage, including rustic-coloured crewneck ribbed sweaters and cable knits which highlight a meticulous plaited yarn process. The collection extends its exploration of high-quality faux fur sourced from Paris, manifesting in a fuzzy vest and a cropped jacket, as well as a formalwear line, featuring a full-length double-breasted woollen coat and a washed-out tan trench coat with purposefully distressed finishes that evoke the warmth of the Californian sun.
As for accessories, FW24 debuts maxi and mini hobo bags, as well as new iterations of the Claudia bag in pale pink, mint green cracked leather, and faded denim. GUESS USA also broadens its footwear selection, with work boots and vintage-inspired cowboy boots. Western belts featuring metal hardware also feature.
