Fresh off the back of its recent Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* has now presented a new footwear capsule with Dr. Martens.
Continuing a long-running collaboration, the upcoming release comprises two classic Dr. Martens silhouettes—the Rikard 8-eye boot and the Rikard 3-eye shoe—that have been reworked to feature simple-yet-effective design details.
Both styles are constructed using Dr. Martens’ Smooth leather and sole piece and arrive in an all-black colourway. The standout detail of each shoe is the reflective side panelling and A-COLD-WALL* branding, which has been sliced to give off the appearance of a barcode.
Other details include a ghillie lacing system, a feature that was first as part of the duo’s previous collaborations, and Dr. Martens’ signature yellow welt stitching which has been incorporated across the black and yellow AirWair heel tab.
