Carhartt WIP has linked up with Japanese bag brand RAMIDUS for a collection of functional, everyday items that tap into the pair’s subcultural roots.
Launched in 2019 in Tokyo, RAMIDUS is known for its expert craftsmanship and desire to establish a “new standard” in its field. Choosing to partner with the heritage workwear brand, the accompanying campaign stars the iconic DJ Muro, skater Yuma Takei, and model Mamina Kagami.
Included is a selection of multi-pocket totes, hip and messenger bags, as well as a DJ bag that can house forty 12” vinyl records. In addition, the range also encompasses an updated version of the Carhartt WIP Kickflip bag as well as a newly-introduced tote bag, hybrid wallet and hip bag, and an understated newspaper bag.
Each item boasts a nylon lining and has been designed with comfort and ease-of-use in mind. The collection utilises a muted colour palette of white and Carhartt WIP’s iconic “Hamilton Brown”, while designs are also accented with a custom woven label.
You can cop the Carhartt WIP x RAMIDUS on July 20 from carhartt-wip.com, Carhartt WIP stores, and select retailers. Get a closer look at the range below.
