Carhartt WIP has taken on a military-inspired theme for its latest collection, drawing creative influence from the expansive beauty of the great outdoors.
Shot on a remote island off the coast of England, Carhartt WIP presents Tour, its new visual instalment for Fall/Winter 2023. Combining elements from the realms of outdoor exploration, the collection presents a series of technical and hybrid-style garments.
The canvas Cargo Bib Overall is just one of the many functional pieces from the capsule, while the Haste Jacket and Pant, which are made from ripstop fabric and feature a new austere military label, serve as highlights. The women’s Olten Bomber, meanwhile, takes influence from the classic MA-1 bomber and has been reworked to include a smooth sateen shell and contrasting colour lining.
Rounding out the offering is a slew of tactile pile liners which have been detailed with a seasonal jacquard motif, a quilted blanket, and a headlamp.
