Swedish label Axel Arigato has returned to launch its latest collection of ready-to-wear offerings. Released as a buildable full-look wardrobe for colder, more extreme climates, the Fall/Winter 2023 collection draws its focus on meaningful items, favourite pieces, souvenirs and things that wearers can not live without.
Continuing to pay homage to New York’s basketball and youth culture, standouts from the menswear line-up include the Grate Embossed Jacket and matching pants, which feature a gridded textural fabric across the chest and knees. A tan suede varsity jacket with contrasting white collar and cuffs is also added to the mix, along with a pair of patchwork denim jeans.
Speaking ahead of the collection’s launch, Max Svardh, Axel Arigto’s creative director and co-founder, said: “This collection was an opportunity for us to reflect on the Axel Arigato brand DNA—championing silhouettes our customers continually desire, and forecasting what the future of the brand should embody as we approach its 10 year anniversary.”
