London-based streetwear label Aries has teamed up with Crocs to present two debut iterations of the Hiker Xscape Clog.
Realised in “Slate Grey” and “Desert Grass” colourways, the collaborative model features a CrosliteTM foam upper, daring midsole with added height, and a sawtooth outsole for superior traction and finish. Additionally, the label’s renowned Roman Column motif is brought to life through a removable and adjustable tonal back strap, while a classic braided 6mm paracord rope, with reflective fleck grips, adorns the upper of the clog.
Referencing the Italian-born imprint’s idea of a beach-side getaway, the capsule collection also comes with accompanying crystal JibbitzTM charms reminiscent of natural amethyst and citrine crystals, seashells, magic mushrooms, and a sparkly golden nugget.
What’s more, Aries has also created an exclusive 32-page zine of the project with Innen [Zines]. Shot by acclaimed photographer Colin Dodgson and i-D’s creative director and World Land Trust ambassador, Jonny Lu, the campaign sees the silhouette put through its paces while surrounded by Lanzarote’s volcanic and natural landscapes.
