adidas Spezial is back for Spring/Summer 2023 with a function-based apparel, footwear and accessories offering that looks to the wonders of the great outdoors.
Founded in 2015 by brand consultant and designer Gary Aspden, adidas’ premium sub-line is dedicated to creating and updating sought-after editions of heritage products from the Three Stripes archive.
Enlisting British actor Stephen Graham for the visuals, the photoset draws on a fresh selection of carefully curated cues and timeless styles. Featuring co-branded T-shirts and a crisp white zip-up pullover, the new collection is highlighted by a technical selection of outerwear pieces—such as the Feniscowles Jacket and orange Kearsley Jacket—which are complemented with pockets made from 100% recycled polyester.
A selection of silhouettes round out the release, including a pair of chunky brown leisure shoes, gum-soled Hochelaga, and a denim iteration of the Italia sneaker.
