Building on over three years of creative partnership, British labels Dr. Martens and A-COLD-WALL* have released another round of Brutalist utilitarian silhouettes.
Paying tribute to A-COLD-WALL* and Dr. Martens’ journey thus far, the duo have revisited the 1461 Oxford shoe, a style that was first introduced as part of their collaborative Fall/Winter 2021 capsule collection. Decked in black and grey hues, the silhouette references ACW* founcer Samuel Ross’ signature design language by using a series of utilitarian touches.
Made from water-resistant and tumbled nubuck, the rough-and-ready model draws inspiration from architectural motifs that define working-class Britain. Marked with silver rivet detailing and a branded zip-style lace system, both colourways are finished off with semi-translucent rubber outsoles, as well as complementary tinted stitching.
A-COLD-WALL*’s latest Dr. Martens collab is available to cop now from the Dr. Martens and ACW* webstores.
