While we live in seconds, minutes, hours, and days, the Internet only knows one measure of time: now. And if you or what you’re about isn’t in the now, then your relevance has a slim chance of sticking. This is the mindset celebrities live with as they flourish in the glossed-over eyes of us laymen.

The digital age is built on three basic principles: trolling, memes, and—of course—emojis. Everything either starts or ends with one of these founding principles, giving it life or quickly becoming its demise. Celebrities embrace these principles the most, because they understand what they mean to their potential constituents. Thus, celebrity emoji—or celebremojis—are born. While a lot (and we mean A LOT) of the results are bad, some celebs really know how to grab hold of the moment and exploit the hell out of it. See which celebrity emojis are the most relevant and which need to be deleted off your keyboard.

Kim Kardashian

Most Relevant: Crying Kim Face, Yeezy Boosts, Selfie, Kim Booty, Kanye Smiling

Least Relevant: Donut

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Godmother of the celebremoji game, Kim Kardashian’s “Kimoji” app started it all—and honestly, it’s only gotten better as each new pack has come out. Between Kim, Kanye, and North, the content is always current and always keeps people coming back. It was reported she was making a million dollars a minute the day she introduced “Kimojis” to the world. It’s apparent she’s figured out how to break the internet at will.

Steph Curry

Most Relevant: Dancing Riley, Chef Curry with the Pot, Steph and Riley at a Post-Game Presser

Least Relevant: Steph Playing Golf, Steph Shooting a Ball at Earth (???), The Currys with the O’Brien Trophy

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Just a few days ago, Steph Curry and fam were on top of the world, about to enjoy back-to-back NBA Championships alongside his back-to-back MVPs. Then, within a matter of three games, it all came crashing down. And because we are fickle human beings who live in the moment, that means his Stephmojis crash with him. Sure, we’ll still enjoy Riley being as cute as she can be and the great family Steph and Ayesha have created, but all of the emojis involving Steph and his basketball prowess will be on hiatus for juuuuust a little bit.

The Game

Most Relevant: Underwear Selfie, LA Hand Sign

Least Relevant: Stitches Groveling at The Game’s Feet, Bodybuilder Game

Rating: 🔥🔥

The Game decided to try to build off of the success of his beef with low-level rapper Stitches and the infamous selfie (that Instagram removed, but here's a close one) where he stuffed a rolled up pair of tube socks in his underwear and created his very own set of emOGis. He has been in and out of the limelight lately, but still has glimpses of relevance that he has cashes in on quickly. Unfortunately, an emoji showing people depicting the most thirst-trappingest moment from a rapper in the history of the internet can only take you so far.

Justin Bieber

Most Relevant: None, yet all of them at the same time?

Least Relevant: I’m so confused right now.

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥

Justin Bieber is still one of the biggest names of our lifetime. He has gone through multiple (albeit awkward at times) phases right before our eyes, and his loyal fans have been ill with Bieber Fever throughout—even when he is obviously tired of fame and stardom and just wants to take a nap or something. But, naturally, his Justmoji app’s popularity is still enormous. Why? Because they are literally all caricatured pictures of him. Not even good ones, at that, but you can better your bottom dollar that the Beliebers will find any reason to use Pouting Bieber #2 AND Sultry Bieber #5 every damn day.

Blac Chyna

Most Relevant: Kardashian Chain on the Baby Bottle, Rob and Chyna Pushing a Stroller, Rob Wearing a Chyna Hat, Pretty much any one that features something about a Kardashian

Least Relevant: All the food ones, especially the Eggplant with Straws In It (???), Side-Eye Meme, pretty much any of the ones that don’t feature a Kardashian

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥

Blac Chyna has sure created…something for herself. The stripper-turned-model-turned-entrepreneur has most recently made a name for herself with her relationships with rapper Tyga and Rob Kardashian. Her Chymojis couldn’t have come at a better time as her relationship with Rob flourishes and the amount of emojis featuring Rob or some reference to the Kardashian family become increasingly more usable. You gotta give it up; she and her team are smart.

Future

Most Relevant: All of them

Least Relevant: Didn’t you hear me say all of them were relevant?

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Are there any petitions out there to turn Future’s emojis into the universal set of emojis on all smartphones? I’ll start one tomorrow because it doesn’t get much better than these. Gucci flip-flops (presumably doing the deed with someone else’s lovely young lady), blood money, all the various Future characters (Astronaut Future, Future Hendrix, Future Christ, Future Vandross, The Wizard) and—lest we forget—the thumb in her butt. Relevance adheres to Future, not the other way around. Sensational.

Wiz Khalifa

Most Relevant: The weed one

Least Relevant: The one that isn’t the weed one

Rating: 🍁🍁🍁🍁

Wiz and his affinity for the greenery will always hold a soft spot in the heart of those who treat everyday like 4/20. He knows those are his main constituents, so his Wizmojis build upon that. As long as there is weed and Wiz keeps making music about it, his emojis are here to stay.

Amber Rose

Most Relevant: Nurse Amber with the Glove, all of the LGBT-themed ones

Least Relevant: Any that duplicate your current keyboard’s emoji set

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Amber Rose’s celebrity continues to grow. It’s unique because of her innate ability to hone her hypersexuality in the most positive, refreshing way that encourages others do the same. She has a knack for putting slut-shamers in their place, and she embraces that with her line of MuvaMojis. Along with her familiar face and buzzed blonde hair, the range of emojis touch on everything from pole-dancing poses, to LGBT pride, to a reference to the infamous finger(s)-in-the-booty tweet about Kanye West. Her emoji set has it all, which is why it’s raking in millions as she rivals Kim for king of the celebremojis.

Cam'ron

Most Relevant: U MAD?, Killa Cam in the Pink Fur, Diplomatic Immunity Cam

Least Relevant: How dare you even ask this question, B?

Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

If Kim Kardashian is the Godmother of celebremojis, then Cam’ron is just the God. He was waaaay ahead of the curve with his (actually decent) 2014 release of emojis that aren’t topical, because anything Kill Cam-related transcends time and space. If you see a “U MAD?” emoji, it resonates immediately, no matter if it’s 2015 or 2025.
