Pictured above, the Crazy Horse Memorial in Black Hills, South Dakota, is on its way to becoming the world's largest sculpture. When complete, the memorial will 641 feet long and 563 feet wide. Wow. The sculpture was started by Korczak Ziólkowski in 1948 and his family has been chipping away ever since. (Longest sculpture, indeed).

The Crazy Horse Memorial is pretty impressive. And, it got us thinking about other big things.

We've all seen the biggest cow at the state fair. Sadly, we've also watched fat guys on tv tackle the biggest burger in Pennsylvania. Those things are cool. But, the world also is full of more interesting, and more impressive big things.

Allen Park, Michigan

Allen Park is home to Uniroyal. Naturally, the world's largest tire is a Uniroyal. Fun fact: Uniroyal once manufacture the largest nail in the world to puncture the biggest tire in a HUGE marketing campaign based around new puncture-resistant product.

Yes, WTF!!??!! A large man on a large bicycle in a random town... hmmm. Well, the town calls itself the "Bicycle Capital of America" Good enough for us.

The world's largest skateboard may live in SD, but it travels. You can also ride it. Which is totally f'ing awesome. Compared to Gus, also featured, the largest skateboard is clearly the most kickass HUGE thing that you can actually use.
