Drake’s Pre-Show Fits in New York City Are the Perfect Opening Act

From rubber dog masks to vintage jerseys, the clothes Drake has been wearing to the arena have been memorable. If you've been inspired, here are some items to recreate them.

Drake is about to wrap up a seven-show run in New York City for his “It’s All a Blur” tour on Wednesday night. Since touching down in the city last week, he’s kept himself busy with more than just sold-out shows. Locals have spotted him shopping at go-to establishments like Popular Jewelry and Metropolis Vintage, while photographers have been sure to snap him whenever he steps out for his evening activities, which has been often. You didn’t think he would just be posting up in his hotel room every night, did you?

The shows themselves have all been can’t-miss events that have included cameos from the likes of Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, and even New York Yankees stars Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Of course, there are also the set pieces, which include everything from a young Drake to a Virgil Abloh tribute. But one thing we weren’t expecting to capture our attention during Drake’s week-long stint in the Big Apple were his series of fits leaving his hotel.

A lot of the pieces are vintage sportswear, so they’re not exactly readily available. We aren’t going to sit here and tell you that you should walk around your city in a rubber dog mask. But if you’re inspired by some of Drizzy’s recent fashion choices and looking for the right fit when the tour stops in your city, we rounded up some solid alternatives for you. Just don’t start barking if you’re in the crowd, please.
