To those of us who grew up in the Tri-State Area or New England, Montreal was like our own Tijuana, where our over-18 and under-21 dreams would come true. But while we were drinking cheap, high alcohol beers and going into third-rate strip clubs, Chromeo's Dave 1 and menswear brand Frank & Oak were getting ready to style on us, heavy.
The two Montreal natives take personal style very seriously. Dave 1, brother of A-Trak and frontman of the aforementioned band, is one of the most stylish rockstars AND DJs. Frank & Oak is no slouch, either. The menswear brand offers modern staples that will keep any guy looking great. It was only a matter of time before the two entities linked up.
Dave 1 has an eccentric but classic sense of dress. His first collection is no different. You should expect the line-up to include garments such as low-cut T-shirts, simple button-ups, white denim, and even lightweight blazers.
"I like to think of it as a complete wardrobe: essential pieces that can be effortlessly combined," the singer said.
