Yep, Halloween is nearly one week away. And who actually wants to spend their hard earned money on a costume when you can just finesse one with a damn good fit? Consider copping some new gear and making a costume on the spot by checking out some of these great drops this week.

Supreme has collaborated with The North Face again this season for a special run of down jackets and Steep Tech ski jackets. Denim Tears has releasd a new collaboration with Champion that’s dedicated to the famous American dancer Alvin Ailey. There is also a colorful assortment of product form Louis Vuitton, another Bape x Readymade collaboration, and more.

Louis Vuitton 'A Piece of The Rainbow' Collection

Designed by Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s “A Piece of The Rainbow” collection is inspired by his very first fashion show for the French luxury house. The collection includes hooded sweatshirts, Monogram Flower-padded blousons, and sporty trousers. One black padded lambskin blouson is available in a featherlight version, in shiny or matte technical material, and can be “Monogramtopstitched” in green, orange, or bright blue. Sleeveless down jackets are also available in a wide color palette along with cashmere sweaters and hats in six different shades adorned with a tone-on-tone silver enamel LV logo. Abloh’s iconic “1.1 Millionaires” glasses with acetate frames are now available in four new colors as well. The LV Trainer returns in orange, violet, blue, yellow, green, color schemes along with an all-white model.

Denim Tears x Alvin Ailey x Champion

Tremaine Emory has collaborated with Champion and the Alvin Ailey Foundation for a special capsule dedicated to the famous Black activist and choreographer who founded the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The collection includes mohair knits, a varsity jacket, track tops, track pants, crewneck sweatshirts, graphic T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, baseball caps, bucket hats, and mohair kufis. A select number of garments were also made with a madras print.

“Dance in general is one of the highest forms of art and sports,” Emory told Complex in a recent interview. “Champion is associated with all of these sports that are typically hetero and machismo sports. And I wanted to show that women, men, every part of the spectrum, the LGBTQ community, and intersexual as well are the highlest level of athletes, too, the highest level of artists, too, and the highest level of creatives as well.”

Readymade x A Bathing Ape

Bape is set to drop another collaboration with Yuta Hosokawa’s Readymade, a Japanese label that has gained recognition for making incredible pieces with secondhand garments and materials. This marks Bape’s third collaboration with Readymade and it’s once again centered on a military aesthetic. A down jacket, shorts, cargo pants, a lunch box-style clutch bag, a Baby Milo plush toy made from vintage military fabrics, and a 1000% Be@rbrick wearing a ghillie suit will be available.

Rastah 'Volume VI'

The artisanal Pakistani streetwear label by Zain Ahmad, Rastah, has just released their “Volume VI” collection. Rastah’s sixth collection is built around the Urdu phrase “sochta hi rehta hai,” which translates to “you keep thinking.” The garments were produced using traditional handblock printing methods and include pieces that were handweaved using recycled yarns. Streetwear essentials like elevated T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants with bold graphics are available. The standout pieces from Rastah include block printed puffer jackets, oversized kimono puffers, and silk coaches jackets. Rastah’s genderless garments are sourced and crafted in Pakistan.

Born X Raised x Lakers Airbrush Collection

The newest collaboration from Born X Raised is an airbrushed collection of merch centered on the Los Angeles Lakers. The collection launched yesterday to commerate opening day. Long sleeve T-shirts are now available in black and white colorways. Hoodies are also available in black and yellow colorways.

Black Owned Everything x Nike x Nordstrom

This Thursday, Black Owned Everything, the e-commerce marketplace and culture hub founded by Zerina Akers, will collaborate with Nike and Nordstrom to host a curated collection of Black-owned brands at four different Nordstrom stores. The Nordstrom shops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle will feature a mix of outerwear, accessories, handbags, and more. The curated collection will highlight Brandon Blackwood, L’ENCHANTEUR, Sammy B, and William Okpo.

Madhappy SoHo Pop-Up Exclusive Merch

This weekend, Madhappy opened a new pop-up shop in New York City. The pop-up shop is located at 33 Howard Street and boasts a futuristic look. The store’s decor includes tall grass and flowers that are juxtaposed against a sleek modern retail store interior. To celebrate the pop-up’s opening, Madhappy has released an NYC-themed capsule collection with sweatpants, hoodies, T-shirts, and trucker hats.

Barton Perreira x Fear of God Sunglasses

Barton Perreira and Fear of God have just dropped “The Extension of 7th Energy: FGBP.2021,” which is the second installment of their optical collaboration. New Matte Sand and Matte Taupe colorways have been added, which stay true to the colors represented throughout Fear of God’s Seventh Collection. The classic rectangular acetate frame boasts light gradient wash lenses that are inspired by the Barton Perreira optical glasses that Jerry Lorenzo wears everyday. The style is available as an optical frame in two fit and the lenses can be worn both indoors and outdoors. The limited-edition style will be available in five colorways and also includes collectible Barton Perreira x Fear of God packaging. The frame will launch exclusively at both brand’s respective web stores before being stocked in select retailers on Oct. 25.


18 East Drop 35

18 East’s newest drop arrives with their Fall 2021 editorial shot by Dean Majd. The brand’s latest collection pairs ancient textile manufacturing techniques with functional, weatherproof fabrics. Highlights from this season include a series of lightweight corduroy pieces—such as a bucket hat, shirt jacket, hooded pullover and zip-off climbing pant— that are hand-printed with a Gujarati block design that dates back to 1340. There’s also hand-dyed indigo khadi workwear that arrives in the form of a heavy cotton canvas trucker jacket and studio double knee pants, which boast Rajasthani quilting at the knees. Hand block printed rugbys cut from heavyweight woven cotton oxford cloth and cotton ripstop pieces with abstract prints are also standout pieces from the label’s latest drop. Of course, the brand’s popular Standard Issue Gorecki cargos return, this time in an acai colorway. Stay tuned for 18 East’s second collaborative project with Padmore & Barnes, which will arrive in the near future.

Aries has collaborated with Eastpak for a new collaboration. Designed by Aries creative director Sofia Prantera, Aries took six signature Eastpak shapes and turned them into dynamic tie-dyed utility bags and technical packs. A continuation of Aries’ Fall/Winter 2021, the capsule offers a bold complement to the label’s “Satanic Panic” collection. The Aries x Eastpak collection includes the Aries Padded Pak’r backpack in 400D camo ripstop, which features military gear loops, a built-in security pocket, and detachable jacquard lanyard that reads “Are Cults a Danger?” Other styles include the tactical-style Aries Vest, Cullen Pack, Bum Bag, Shopper Tote, and Talky Pack.

Undercover x Evangelion

Undercover’s anticipated collaboration with the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion is now available. Todd Patrick has just released its FW21 collection titled “Even Weeds Grow.” An extension of its previous fall collection, “A letter from Michigan,” designer Desyree Nicole, shifted her focus on earth tones to further tell the story of the hometown hero. The collection features classic silhouettes and a blend of streetwear, contemporary and elevated garments. There are leather button-down Cuban shirts, silk tops, and alternate versions of tailored trousers.
