Personal styles, for better or worse, change and evolve. Celebrities are no exception and their many outfits have been well-documented thanks to the Internet.
Speaking of the Internet, the digital world has led to this pretty awesome thing called Throwback Thursday, or in Instagram talk, #tbt. People post photos from their past, and usually said photos are hilarious or embarrassing (sometimes they're both). We get a good kick out of them, but they're also actually fairly informative—we get to see how celebs used to dress.

Lil Wayne
Weezy has definitely gone through one of the biggest style makeovers. It's hard to believe this was even how he dressed bac then because, you know, he's all about Trukfit, skate clothing, skinny jeans, and wild prints now.
Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook is currently the king of prints and patterns. He is most definitely thanking the style gods for helping him improve his look. His old look of XXXL tall tees and 10-button suits are not missed.
Ryan Gosling
A few years has really done Ryan Gosling some good. He (and his suits) are definitely better than the Gap now. He's proof that good style can do wonders for your love life. He's every woman's favorite actor right now, and he calls Eva Mendes his girlfriend. Can't hate on that.
Meek Mill
MMG used to be "Meek Mill Go Away," and now it's Maybach Music Group. This is a style 180. It's crazy what a different haircut can do to a guy's whole look...and career. The Philly rapper made the right choice by cutting off his braids.
David Beckham
Years ago, David Beckham and the word "stylish" would not even have been used in the same sentence. After all, he dressed like this and had braids. But he is living proof that you can always work on your personal style—he's already becoming one of the most stylish celebrities of 2013.
Usher
The bad news: Usher actually wore that outfit to the 2000 Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas—can someone confirm he's burned that outfit since, please? The good news, though, is that he's finally learning what works for him. In his case, progress is a bit of a slow process. But that's better than no improvement at all, right?
George Clooney
Guys, look at this young George Clooney. He isn't nearly as daring with his style these days, but at least he's gotten rid of that hair. That's worth something, right?
Justin Timberlake
JT is finally making a comeback and, thankfully, said comeback also includes better style. We looked at photos from his 'NSYNC days and were literally crying rivers over here. The great news is he's ditched that look for awesome Tom Ford suits. The new Justin definitely deserved a spot in our best dressed list.
Carmelo Anthony
Melo's Givenchy-wearing self may or may not be cringing at the thought of that long tee right now. Also, Carmelo was so famous for his braids that it was nationally televised when he finally cut the cornrows off.
Drake
Before all the sweaters, OVO clothing, and his new found appreciation for leather pants, the Toronto rapper dressed like this. So who wins: Good ol' Degrassi Drake or Drizzy Drake? Discuss.
Chris Brown
Chris Brown has hit a few rough patches with his personal style, but he is making more of an effort right now to pull it together and that's something to acknowledge. We're not quite sure what has changed—maybe Rihanna has something to do with it. What we do know is this: he better not bring back those matching pants and shirt. Ever.
A$AP Rocky
First off, this is actually A$AP Rocky and not just some pretty damn good Photoshop skills. Everyone's got one of these embarrassing flicks lying around, but not everyone has a perm like Rocky.
Tyson Chandler
You always hear about how hard it is for basketball players, or anyone extremely tall, to find clothes that fit and look good. Pre-NBA (and before the million dollar paycheck) Tyson Chandler looked like he didn't know what a tailor was, and street goth for that matter. Good thing those days are long gone.
Swizz Beatz
Who remembers Swizz Beatz from his Ruff Ryders days? Back then his wardrobe included baggy clothes and bandanas. These days, he's wearing 40oz NY Maison Martin Margiela-inspired snapbacks, Givenchy, and designer sneakers, to name a few. Oh, how things change.
Justin Bieber
The Biebs' style has changed tremendously in such a short amount of time. Since releasing "One Time" off his debut album My World in 2009, he's ditched his signature purple sweaters and "Bieber hair" for leather pants, A.P.C. camo jackets, varsity jackets, and grown-up suits.
