Straw art is all the rage in Japan, and it’s easy to see why. Immensely talented Japanese artists have taken to transforming ordinary drinking straws into mind-blowing works of art, incorporating vibrant colors and playful curves into their finished products. Often the pieces conform to a set of themes: mythical creatures, insects, and superheroes.

Among the makers of this craft, one has emerged as a superior talent. Known only as TAO, this straw artisan has become famous for his incredibly ornate dragons.
