The Laser Girls, NYC-based digital artists Sarah C. Awad and Dhemerae Ford, have revolutionized the manicure game with their latest creation: 3D-printed nail art. While stick-on acrylics have been available at drug stores for ages, these adhesive nails are different than anything you’ll find at your local Duane Reade. Made possible by the invention of 3D-printers, Awad and Ford have created intricate and distinctive nail designs that feature raised patterning and bold colors. These modern acrylics are one of the first applications of 3D technology to the beauty industry.

The nails can be purchased on the Shapeways site of New York’s Museum of Art and Design.
