Japanese artist Iori Tomita's series New World Transparent Specimens focuses on biology and the nuances of animals. He first learned all about transparent specimens when he was an undergraduate student studying small animal bone structure. The animals become clear after dissolving proteins in their skin. Vibrant dyes are applied to the skeletal system and thus making this cool project. Below is a video describing his process.
