'Interview' Magazine's September #ME Issue Features Racy Selfies of Kim Kardashian

For September 2015, Interview magazine decided to dedicate its entire issue to the art of the seflie. And who better to feature on the cover than the current reigning Queen of Selfies, Kim Kardashian?

Shared on her Instagram account earlier today, Kim K’s cover features the 34-year-old reality star in her most natural state: behind a smartphone lens posing topless; however, Kim isn’t the only celebrity to be featured on the September #ME issue. The publication has also unveiled seven other stars who, like Kim, were asked to submit their selfies for the cover. Madonna, Miley Cyrus, J. Lo, Selena Gomez, Zayn Malik, Victoria Beckham, and photographer Mert Alas have all nabbed the alternative covers.

"We definitely encouraged them to push the limits," Interview’s editor in chief Kevin Pollock told The Independent. “But we weren't interested in steering them in any way. Our aim was to allow them to create an image that reflects the way the subjects see themselves. And the way they want to be seen."

In addition to the cover stars, the issue also features selfies submitted by 150 individuals big in the social media game, such as designer Riccardo Tisci, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, and Kim’s little sister Kendall Jenner.
