Fledgling footwear company article n˚________ has just debuted its first-ever sneaker collection for Spring/Summer 2015. And it’s definitely an impressive start.
Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of Los Angeles culture, founders Ant de Padovane, Michael Jonte, and brothers Josh, and Jacob Willis wanted to produce a unique yet respectable shoe company that embodied the freedom and roots of their modern life.
Fusing high-fashion sensibilities with streetwear styles, the brand was able to produce a head-turning collection inspired by minimalist sculptor Richard Serra. The range of low runners, mid- and high-top trainers feature clean, swooping lines and are made from premium Nappa leather and embossed python. They each also feature a neoprene sock liner, waxed laces, and custom designed phylon/rubber injected sole units.
Take a look at the collection's editorial below, shot by Adam Katz Sinding and modeled by Bradley Soileau. The range is available at Kith, Barney‘s New York, Beams International Gallery, Estnation, United Arrows, Colette, Harvey Nichols, and Offspring Selfridges.
