The District's Grant Harris doles out practical style advice any guy can use. His style veers towards the classics, but he knows how to turn things up a notch when necessary. He also offers services as an image consultant for guys who need a little bit more guidance.

Location: Chicago, IL/Brooklyn, NY/Kansas City, MO

Three friends: Seth Putnam, Jeffrey Kieslich, and Cameron Niederhauser started this blog as a way to document what dudes in the midwest were wearing. Don't dismiss it as an Americana blog right away, that'd be a huge disservice. Since its inception, Kieslich has since relocated to Brooklyn, but his classlcally-informed style remains cool as ever. Meanwhile, Putnam still holds it down for the Windy City and Niederhauser reps KC to the fullest. All three still kill it on a regular basis.

Foster Huntington quit his gig in NY to travel around the West Coast in a VW van. Not a bad deal, considering he takes breathtaking pics to accompany it. That said photos happen to exhibit laid back West Coast style is secondary to the overall story. Also worth checking out is his other site, The Burning House, which documents the possessions people deem most important to them.

The great thing about the Virginia capital is how much of a hodgepodge the city's culture is. You've got its Southern prep roots which definitely have a foothold, but you also have plenty of thriving subcultures and a surprisingly bustling creative economy. Amongst the design-oriented college kids and successful creatives who frequent Carytown and shop at Need Supply, there's also a thriving scene of fixed-gear bike nuts and skate rats. Dirty Richmond snaps interesting snapshots at where all these different types of people intersect, and how awesome they all look.

You'd be surprised to learn that Badowers is really one of the best shops in America, and it's located in Iowa. For over 50 years, Badowers has made midwest dudes look good, and is the spot menswear designer Todd Snyder learned the ropes before taking his talents to J. Crew prior to launching his line. Their blog documents a lot of the new stuff in the shop, and gives styling tips, details on how it breaks in, and also shows a lot of rad lookbooks and editorials

Cory Piehowicz is a rad photographer who makes workwear look well, worked in. Farm from the precious-looking menswear bloggers and dudes on city streets, Piehowicz and the men he photographs look like they worry more about surviving the outdoors than artfully-rolled pant cuffs. He visually details the breaking in process of everything from waxed denim to waxed outerwear, and it all looks awesome. It's no surprise he's worked with brands like Left Field and Levi's Vintage Collection.

Robert Babigian is the guy behind Wharf, one of the best shops in Rhode Island. He really lives for menswear, as he also uses his store's blog to feature stuff he's into, different trends, and other really cool features like style guides.

Giussepe Timore holds down Beantown and looks great on a dime. He's honed a killer ability to hunt for bargains, whether it's coming up on great brand via thrift stores, eBay, or awesome sales. It's a good place to learn what's worth buying and how to find a deal, as well as how to dress in a super classic manner.

Sabir Peele holds it down for the City of Brotherly Love. One of Esquire's Best Dressed Real Men, he knows how to really work color into his wardrobe: sparingly. That doesn't mean he's afraid to take style risks, he pulls off the tank top under the bright blazer look really well. A lot of NBA players can look to this guy to see how to wear the stuff they try to pull off every day without looking like they're trying too hard.

One of the best menswear blogs out there, this is the place to learn practical style advice, and then decide which rules you want to break. The good thing about Thorn's site is that it's one of the best places to really get the basics down pat. With Derek Guy of Die, Workwear! also on board, and the video series he does to complement the site, it's definitely one of the most useful resources out there for men today.
