Dab the affected area with warm water and white vinegar, or alternately, water and rubbing alcohol. Wash the item as you normally would and the stain should lift right out.

Scrape off excess with something like a dull knife, business card, or credit card. Blot the area with baby wipes and then rinse with hot water, which should dissolve the oils.

BBQ Sauce

Run cold water through the back of the stain to force it back out through the fabric. Rub in a liquid detergent onto the stain and work it in gently. If it's a white garment you can use vinegar, lemon juice, or even hydrogen peroxide for extra effect. Rinse well.
