Despite earlier speculation saying he will likely become Balenciaga's new creative director, Christopher Kane said he is not joining the French fashion house.
"Rumors surrounding Christopher Kane's appointment as creative director of Balenciaga are unfounded," said a spokesman for the designer.
Balenciaga's current Creative Director, Nicholas Ghesquiere, announced his plans to leave at the end of the month. The label is no doubt working to find a worthy replacement.
