As Kanye West's "Yeezus Tour" descends upon Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the NYC-area is set for a week full of Yeezy. But what if it lasted more than a week? What if Kanye moved to one of the many, diverse neighborhoods in Brooklyn? He'd definitely take on the characteristics and style that define each unique area of the borough, and start to blend in with the crowds that inhabit each 'hood.
People have been known to dress like Kanye West, but here's what it would look like if the reverse were true, and Ye started styling himself after his neighbors. Whether he chose Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy, or Fort Greene, this is How Kanye West Would Dress if He Lived in Different Neighborhoods of Brooklyn.

Park Slope
Required items: Beer belly; Stroller; General schlubbiness
If Kanye moved to Park Slope, he'd take on all the features of the other dads there: a protruding belly, wrinkled clothing, and an expert knowledge of the stroller industry. Living near Prospect Park and in a quality school zone would be great for North, but any chance of Ye maintaining his style icon status would be thrown out faster than non-organic quinoa that Kim mistakenly purchased from a store that wasn't the Park Slop Food Co-Op.
Fort Greene
Required items: Weird hat; Tote bag
Moving to Fort Greene would allow Ye to embrace his inner blipster, and it might just be the best style move he could make. Tote bags full of farmer's market bounty, a weird floppy hat, and tore-up denim would complete the look, and living in such a beautiful area full of young creatives would do wonders for North.
Brighton Beach
Required items: Velour tracksuit; Thin gold chain; House slippers
Between vodka sessions with his Russian comrades, Ye would have the neo-mobster look down pat. Part classic cozy boy, part Tony Soprano, if Ye made the move to Brighton Beach he and Kim could rock matching velour tracksuits like it was 2002 all over again.
Brooklyn Heights
Required items: Corduroy jacket; Vintage tie; Hand-rolled cigarettes
If Kanye were to move to BK Heights, he'd definitely take on the professorial shabby chic look that anchors every Wes Anderson film. Looking straight out of an episode of Bored to Death, Ye's faux-intelligentsia style might gain him acceptance by the liberal elites of the 'hood, but he'd have to trade in any sort of cred for a new set of elbow patches.
Crown Heights
Required items: Bekishe; Payot; Tzitzit
Living in Crown Heights would expose Kanye to Hasidic Judaism, and he may just join Shyne as a devoted observer. In addition to exercising his personal faith, Ye would take on the traditional garb of the religion, including all the necessary items that his neighbors would be rocking. Of course, there's also the chance he'd start dressing like his West Indies neighbors.
Bedstuy
Required items: Timberlands; Logo belt; Non-Kanye white voice
Ye's always been a visionary, and with the housing market and gentrification booming the way they are, Yeezy would cop a crib in Bed-Stuy no problem. Since the neighborhood is one of the most diverse areas in Brooklyn, Kanye's many looks would always fit in no matter what he wore. He'd definitely rock Timbs and rugged workwear, but he would also find fellow compatriots rocking oversized outerwear, visvim, and everything else without ever going wrong. Except for the Margiela masks. Those wouldn't fly.
Williamsburg
Required items: Beard; Arm tats; Sense of entitlement
Williamsburg Kanye would be the worst Kanye. At this point he'd either take on the last vestiges of whatever it is that "hipsters" are, or start emulating the fratty banker bros that have made the move to Billyburg.
