Normally, there are only a few celebrities who have dope enough style for that aspect of their persona to transcend the talents they're primarily famous for. Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, and the like are definite celebs who have always been pegged as stylish dudes. It's tough for guys who are pegged as having wack or non-notable style to break into that conversation.
But it's certainly doable, no matter what 2012 was about, some celebs took the past year to advance their style. Whether they cleaned up their whole act, stopped doing insane shit, or just found a natural groove that fit their persona, these guys Started From the Bottom: Celebrities Who Improved Their Style In 2013.

Michael B. Jordan
Michael B. Jordan the actor will always have the advantage of not being the worst-dressed MJ. However, that's a pretty low bar, and Michael B. set out in 2013 to become not just decent, but a dope future leader in style. Career-wise, the past year launched him into A-list levels, and if his style trajectory continues along this path then he should have a very steezy year ahead of him.
Miguel
Miguel's style transformation really started around the time he dropped Kaleidescope Dream in late 2012. The singer started off wearing crazy futuristic-looking clothes, and then started channeling a little bit of Prince, then eventually a rock n' roll look.
This year, though, he started leaning more towards '90s grunge, rocking endless motorcycle leather jackets, ripped jeans, and shirts tied around his waist. A lot of people are on the fence as to whether or not he really is one of the most stylish celebs right now, but there's no denying that with a new hit album came a much better and more natural-looking style.
Wiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa has an IDGAF attitude about his sense of style. He's worn loud prints, leather vests, and some pretty outrageous things in the past. But this year, the Pittsburgh rapper developed a rock n' roll, grunge look. 2013, especially the last few months, has also been all about Kokon to Zai for Wiz (wifey Amber Rose also rocks the London brand on a regular basis). It'll be interesting to see if he keeps this going in 2014.
Jared Leto
Jared Leto's style used to be as all over the place as his pupils during a night out with his best friend Terry Richardson. There were times in the beginning of this year when his downtown, rockstar look went over the line he took on an apperance that made people cross the street when they saw him coming. Who knows what exactly flipped the switch, but Leto's glam-rock swagger re-discovered its groove later in the year. Soon he was looking like a proper rock star who had dads hiding their daughters, but not a creepster who had a strange smell coming from his property.
Scott Disick
Lord Disick became known for his four-figure three-pice suits that made him look like a rich dick. Throughout the year, it became more and more obvious that his new BFF Kanye West influenced every single way he dresses, and had the Lord bowing down to superior ways. The bold, attention-grabbing custom suits soon made way for high-end comfortable streetwear. At times Disick still looked like a wealth-flaunting ass, but more often times than not he was able to pull it off. Hopefully in 2014 Disick can blaze his own sartorial path and take what he's learned from Ye and make it his own. Afterall, what's a lord to a gawd?
Cam'ron
Cam'ron dominated 2013 with a few endeavors, including the Nike Elite socks with his face on it that practically broke the Internet and made everyone pull out their old Dipset albums, as well as Dipset socks and a Dipset football jersey. He also stepped his game up hugely, and dressed much, much better than a year ago. The key for Killa Cam's awesome 2013 was to resist undergoing a complete transformation, and instead just refined the dope shit that was already there.
Drake
Drake has covered a lot of ground in the last few months. In 2012, he wore things like, batting and football gloves (which we still don't get), silk Versace shirts, and a questionable smedium Alexander McQueen sweater.
As 2013 rolled on, the Toronto rapper wasn't dressed terribly, necessarily, but he looked confused. But in the second half of the year, he seemed more put together and finally started rocking shit that actually looked dope and cohesive. He started rocking subdued, street-influenced looks built with Hood By Air, Kenzo, and Christopher Shannon. But he didn't lose his baller ways—dude spent $50,000 at the strip club in En Noir leather pants, and even had Calvin Klein custom make his tour outfits.
There was some debate on whether or not Drake should've made the "Most Stylish Celebrities of 2013" list, but it took the better part of the past year to start near the bottom and end up here. Still, his progress can't be ignored. It'll be interesting to see where he takes his style next year, and if he has anymore collabs with Stussy and makes big moves with Team Jordan, then he'll probably be near the top of the aforementioned list.
