They say that, relative to women's fashion, menswear moves at a glacial pace. Well, if that's the case, then we're rooting for global warming to melt away some of these tragic trends. We appreciate that some stylish guys are trying to push the agenda of menswear, but sometimes they're jumping ahead of themselves, and definitely need to reel it in.

Alternatively, there are the guys who are stuck on trends that, if they took the time to look around, they'd realize they're the only ones still trying to make it a thing. 10. The Coat Drape

We've said it before, but looks like we'll have to say it again - only true Italian Dons can rock their jacket this way. Put them sleeves on, paisano.

9. Non-Belts

As the cousin to the belted cardigan, the end of which we already called for, this needs to get nipped in the bud before it starts blowing up on Tumblr and Instagram. If you find a sash of silk and are thinking about trying to pull this off, ask yourself, "Does my waist really need a bow with two flowing ends?"

8. White Pants

We get it - you know the rules of fashion and you're badass enough to flamboyantly break the white pants rule. Now keep it moving and order the red wine you've been missing.

7. The Loosely Tied Scarf

Dudes walk a fine line between appearing naturally blasé and looking like they spent 42 minutes in front of the mirror making sure their scarf looks just right. Anyone with a precariously tied scarf is going to come off looking like a sucker who forgot the number one rule: protect your neck!

6. High Fashion Parodies

At first, these seemed like the most clever and subversive thing to hit the streets in a while. But then everyone started doing it, and now it's simply time to get on to the next one. You might think of a great play on words of a high-end designer or brand in the next few days, but resist the temptation to slap it on a tee.

We're all for layering, but do it incoreectly and you'll look like a confused onion.

This was cool for a minute, but then it became apparent that dudes were both a. straight biting Kanye's steez and b. not even peeling off a layer, but just tying a shirt before they left the crib. Seems a little forced to continue in 2013.
