Enough with these already.

Street style has afforded us the ability to see what guys are wearing in real time. Often, these editors, bloggers, and other fashion industry figures inspire us to wear things differently, or show off really cool gear, but other times, it's another way to track trends and see what's really heavy in these steezy streets.

And believe us, not all of it is pretty. When a certain item sells out quick or gets hyped because some rapper wore it, you see the same dudes wearing this stuff at fashion shows and all over your tumblr dashboard, usually with like 4,000 reblogs. Here's the thing: just because some guys are actually managing to rock this stuff well, doesn't mean you can. In an effort to nip these sorts of things at the bud, we compiled 15 Menswear Trends That Need to Go Away.

Ankle Bracelets

You belong under house arrest until you take those off.

These Shoes

Technically they are called "Belgian Shoes" but the only good things that have come from Belgium are Jean-Claude Van Damme and waffles. While some guys can pull it off, you are probably not one of them. It looks like your feet are wearing bowties. Which makes them look like douchebags.

Dressing Up 24/7

You might have heard it's better to dress like you have someplace better to be... but if you keep showing up everywhere looking like a dickhead, people will stop inviting you out altogether.

Floral Everything

In small doses, it's dope. In large ones... it looks like something grandma would use.

Beaded Necklaces

These make you look like you just came back from some sort of spirit quest in Tibet where you "found yourself" and now are at one with the universe... or you're a white guy that celebrates Kwanzaa. Take your pick.

Belted Cardigans

The only guys that can pull this look off are the same guys that can wear pretty much anything they want. For the rest of us, here's a better idea: take that belt and hang yourself in shame.

Wearing The American Flag

What is this, a Miley Cyrus video?

Jeans With Raw Hems

ODB might like it raw... your jeans don't. Take them to a proper tailor, lest they slowly unravel like a sweater in a Weezer song.

Portfolios

These just seem really impractical. What can you put in one of these? A pack of cigarettes, an iPad, and some tampons for when you get butthurt because Tommy Ton didn't snap your photo?

"Fun" Shirts

Brooks Brothers' pastel oxford cloth version was cool, but now everyone and their mother makes these and they come off like really bad mash-ups. Remember how many fucking people put together The Black Album with some other colored album? Yes, that kind of corny.

Shorts With Boots

Do you even check the weather before you leave the house? We can't imagine any sort of climate in which this would be comfortable.

Stacking Bracelets

Remember friendship bracelets? Total opposite. The more of these you have, the less friends you have.

Not Really Wearing Your Jacket

If your name is Bruce Pask, you get a pass. Otherwise, it looks like you never learned how to properly dress yourself.

The Air Tie With A Suit

Buttoning your shirt all the way up works sometimes if you're not wearing a sportcoat. Otherwise, you look like a walking game of "Pin the Tie On The Menswear Dude."

Suits With Performance Sneakers

When you use simple or luxe kicks like Vans, Common Projects, or Margielas, this look can be dope. However, when you bring free run soles or shape-ups into the game, disaster can strike. Yes, you'll see a lot of fashion editors rocking this look, but that's because they're always on the go from show to show, which can scuff up a pair of hardbottoms pretty quickly, not to mention take its toll on your feet.
