This past weekend, the annual World Beard and Moustache Championship was held in Leogang, Austria.
The three-day event gathered over 300 competitors from all over the globe. As to be expected there was a lot of impressive facial hair—and some that was just weird.
The contest used a jury to determine the most attractive and unusual beards. They judged the men in 18 categories of moustache, chin and stubble beard, and full beard. Many of the participants also dressed in eccentric costumes to compliment the style of their facial hair.
The National championships will take place in Brooklyn, New York next month, just in time for Movember.
