Lead
Summer's always been great for the movie industry, what with blockbusters raking in millions of dollars for producers and execs. Many movies ride on the talent and looks of their leading men though, and we've been paying attention to red carpet appearances and random sightings of some of the industry's buzzed-about names. As if they don't get enough shine, already, we found a few dudes whose style lives up to the hype. See what we mean with our picks for the 5 Best-Dressed Actors of Summer 2011.
Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds
OK, so Green Lantern didn't live up to hype. That still doesn't stop Ryan Reynolds from stylin' on us every chance he gets—and when you're one of the most relevant actors out now, you have a lot of chances. Peep the far right image: he's totally saying "No one can rock a skinny tie like me."
Tom Felton
Tom Felton
As Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, Tom Felton has had a busy summer with the film's final installment in theaters now. His role isn't as big as Daniel Radcliffe's, but his swag definitely tops his co-star's. He can rock a suit the traditional way, and then keep it super casual with a simple St. John's nautical tee and slippers. Dude is ill. So ill, in fact, that he's considering a career change.
Jake Gyllenhaal
Jake Gyllenhaal
Source Code helped kick off this wave of awesome summer movies, while Gyllenhaal showed off his acting chops as the lead role in the early summer film (rocking a cool chambray shirt and tie for most of the film), he also showed us that he's a talented dresser off the silver screen. Fans of Americana will appreciate the denim-on-denim look and we can't hate the perfect suit—bowtie included.
Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake
Seeing as though JT is spending more time on a movie set than the studio lately, it's safe to consider him a full-blown actor now. With two of the season's most talked about blockbusters in theatres now (Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits) and another one on its way (In Time), Timberlake is running the summer of 2011. When he's not rocking his own line, William Rast, he's definitely doing justice to other high-end brands.
Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling could definitely be considered a breakout style star of the summer. Being spotted in on-point items like Red Wing boots and printed peacoats helped boost Gosling's swag, but what sealed the deal was his recent red carpet appearance for Crazy, Stupid, Love where he rocked a immaculately tailored suit from Gucci's most recent Spring 2012 collection.
