Pharrell can do it all. This past February, he announced via Twitter that he was now co-owner of G-Star. The move, according to WWD, would see Pharrell involved in everything from the collections to advertising.
We haven't seen much yet from the new partnership, but yesterday Pharrell (and his pink hair) took a select group to Amsterdam to check out G-Star RAW's factory. Spoiler: Miguel, Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe, and A$AP Rocky were all there. Pharrell walked them through the space and showed them different denim pieces from the brand, as well as how they're made. It's an interesting look at how G-Star, the Dutch company that's been influencing the denim world for over 25 years, works and a preview of what to expect under the watch of the brand's new Head of Imagination.
