Fashion Kills: The Most Fearsomely Stylish Horror Creatures

Designers, whether for collections or costumes, can get their inspiration from anywhere. Whether it's nature, nostalgic photographs, or even the garments of yesteryear.

Sometimes though, that inspiration can come from a dark place. As Halloween draws ever nearer, we've definitely noticed a lot of eerie similarities between designer collections and some of the most gruesome killers to hit the silver screen.

Maybe there are some darker subconscious imagery lurking in designers' minds, or maybe a lot of them are just fans of horror—for people like Rick Owens, that wouldn't be hard to believe at all. It's no secret that Junya Watanabe learned much of what he knows through his work with Comme des Garçons. Perhaps the PLAY line was a subtle nod to one of his favorite horror flicks?
