A Scavenger Hunt Is Taking Place for a Chance to Score the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 ‘Reverse Mocha’

In just two weeks, sneaking-trading platform Tradeblock will host a first-of-its-kind scavenger hunt in Manhattan, where participants will compete for the chance to receive a pair of the TS x AJ1 Low Reverse Mochas​​​​​​. Participants will use the platform’s app to be directed to various NYC sneaker hubs, collecting hints and clues about their next stop. The hunt will conclude once a participant arrives at the final destination to claim the sneakers.

The first clue will be revealed on the Tradeblock app at noon ET on Aug. 26. Participants must be active Tradeblock users; opt-in to SMS; follow @tradeblock.us on social media; and, of course, be able to conduct the hunt in-person.

The Tradeblock app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

The winner will also receive an invitation to the On The Block Giveback and Kickback on Aug. 27 in Williamsburg. The event will be presented in collaboration Sneaker Impact, a nonprofit organization that focuses on footwear sustainability.

The TS x AJ1s were released last month via a raffle on the rapper’s online store. According to Tradeblock, the event received more than 2.4 million submissions within the half hour it was opened. The drop was supported by a Cactus Jack “Reverse Mocha” collection, which delivered tees, crewneck sweatshirts, zip-up hoodies, caps, and more.
