Uniqlo is giving you the chance to go from struggle streetwear designer to the next big thing in fashion. Kind of. The Japanese retailer has just unveiled a new app that allows users to create their own T-shirts. UT Me, which differs from "My Uniqlo," lets you create different graphic designs, prints, and text, and place them onto a shirt —straight from your phone or tablet.
Uniqlo is charging 1990 yen (almost $20) per shirt and you can either pick your tees up from the Tokyo location or have them delivered to your home. But before you rush to the app store, the service is only available in Japan, at least for now. If it proves popular in its homeland, then it's likely to head stateside, where Uniqlo is aggressively expanding its presence.
