We can hardly believe it either.

Swizz Beatz is no stranger to the art world, and most know that he's actually a fine artist himself. In the last year, he's shared his intentions to open an art gallery (saying that he "found the new [Andy] Warhol in Japan, the new [Takashi] Murakami in Hong Kong") and exhibit work at the Harlem Hospital. Just last week, he helped raise over $200,000 at the Bronx Charter School for the Arts' 10th annual art auction, bringing in items like sheet music autographed by ADELE and an autographed vinyl of the 25th anniversary edition of Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.

When he's not reminding us that Jeffrey Deitch compares him to Basquiat (true story), he's surprising us with his latest art endeavors. Yesterday's surprise came through Instagram, where Swizz shared photos of himself making art with the mega-rich British artist, Damien Hirst. They pose in front of one of Hirst's formaldehyde shark vitrines wearing lab coats, and in the second image, they appear to be making one of Hirst's iconic spin paintings.

Swizz captioned the pic-stitched Instagram with, "Today was a Epic chapter in my life. I got to do paintings with my brother, Mr. Damien Hirst, the great! SWIZZ X HIRST coming soon. ART IZ LIFE! #inspirations #blessings Next level ish." It's an epic chapter in Swizz's life, and it's an epic morning for us. Will they sell the works they've made? Were they just casually hanging out? We'll just have to wait and see.
