Gianfranco Zaccai, president and CEO of Design Continuum, is the star of Herman Miller's latest video for their "Why Design" series. The industrial designer and architect shares his design philosophy while at his favorite restaurant in Boston, saying, "Sometimes food is ceremonial, and needs to make a statement, and sometimes it should be subtle and just be there. Sometimes it should almost just disappear." He adds that "great food should be like great design," and in doing so, he shares his company's mission to make excellent products, from medical equipment to consumer goods and retail environments.
