Stussy is teaming up with Dover Street Market for a major collaboration that will include an installation, a capsule collection, vintage pieces, and extremely unique items. The news comes as part of a larger piece from Business of Fashion on how Stussy has managed to remain relevant while growing into a huge company.

The installation at DSM's New York location that will serve as a retrospect and a showcase for new clothes by featuring a capsule collection between the two brands mixed in with vintage Stussy pieces made in the '80s and '90s. The capsule includes streetwear staples like branded T-shirts, a Coach's jacket, and a bucket hat, while the vintage pieces offer loud prints on a mix of trousers and tees.

The space will also include deadstock Stussy pieces that have been turned into special one-off pieces by accomplished Central Saint Martins student Kiko Kostadinov, who has collaborated with the streetwear brand in the past.

Fraser Avey, Stussy's global brand director, talked about the perks of working with a name like DSM. "Dover Street is something that is probably at the pinnacle of inspiring retail for us," he told Business of Fashion. "There’s no real economic motivation in working with Union or DSM. We probably lose money on those projects, but those are the projects we get excited about, and those are the projects our friends get excited about."

Add DSM to the long list of collaborations Stussy has done this year, including SOPHNET., Union L.A., Mastermind Japan, Loopwheeler, Slam Jam, and Champion.

The Stussy and DSM collab is coming tomorrow, June 4. You can check out images of the capsule and vintage collections below.
