We've seen not so great Pokémon -inspired tattoos before, but one Reddit user just shared a tattoo inspired by the video game characters that might be the worst tattoo of anything, ever. "My friend was drunk and on Xanax when he decided to tattoo a black face Charmander with no experience or artistic ability," the original poster writes. "The flame saves it."
The poster clarified that the man with the tattoo drew it himself, but that doesn't mean he's happy with the results. "He woke up the next morning and asked his friend why he didn't stop him," the user wrote. "His friend said he tried multiple times."
The tattoo has taken on a life of its own, with some even trying to defend the drawing as a Tim Burton-style Pokémon. But mostly people have been inspired to create a series of products inspired by the crudely drawn Charmander tattoo. In a string of posts titled "I don't know why, but..." Reddit users have posted hoodies, water bottles, T-shirts, car decals, and framed pictures they've created with the shitty tattoo. The user who originally shared the image even created a necklace with a sculpture of the drawing and is selling it on eBay. Insanely, the bid is already up to $75.
