Todd Snyder's Footwear Collection With Cole Haan Bridges New York City's Past and Present

Todd Snyder is releasing his second collection of footwear with Cole Haan for Fall/Winter 2015. Cole Haan has exclusively provided shoes for Snyder's menswear collections in the past.
For the collection, the New York-based designer looked to styles that would combine the heritage and tradition of the city and a more modern and refined aesthetic. The collection includes a Wallaby, Chukka, oxford and two pairs of boots. Snyder, finding inspiration in an old, outdated map of New York City, named each shoe after street names in downtown Manhattan that no longer exist. The names are meant to evoke the same fusion of new and old that the designs represent.
