A-COLD-WALL* and its designer Samuel Ross are two names to watch in the menswear world. Ross serves as Virgil Abloh's assistant, recently appeared on a panel with the Off-White designer, and has already put out two strong collections. Now, A-COLD-WALL* is back with a second collection for the Spring/Summer 2015 season.
The collection sees A-COLD-WALL* return to the working class vibe is put forth in its debut collection, after dabbling with sportswear in the first Spring/Summer offering. The almost uniformly beige range includes a deconstructed overcoat, which plays with proportions by shortening the sleeves and dramatically splitting the side seams, a crewneck with the words "No Water," and socks featuring the brand's logo. The collection also includes a pair of "inverted" shorts, which are exactly what they sound like with the pockets on the outside and visible stitching.
