Album Art Assist: 5 Things Chris Brown Could Have Done to Make the "F.A.M.E." Cover Better

Although we like to joke about it, Chris Brown isn't a failure. He has some good songs and people like him. But when we saw the cover for the new album, F.A.M.E., we all had to laugh. It's full of art trends, including a Kehinde Wiley appropriation, use of the horror font, an all over print background—it's just crazy. Chris, if you were going to go this route you should have hit us up! Your cover art is obviously not finished, because there are tons of more trends you could have abused. The first step in adding on to your album to make sure that it appeals to the cool guy masses is to get Cali with it. Think about the crews that rock one of the more famous streetwear meccas in the world, and hook it up. For good measure, "take inspriation" from OF, they're killing it right now.

Skateboarding is also so sick right now dude. Appeal to the shredazzari with this series of icons that will take anyone who has ever set foot to grip back to his roots. It will also help with the "heritage" play. Some Independent crosses, skull and crossbones...these are just suggestions, but go nuts with the theme.

Jay and 'Ye got the dude from Givenchy to do their album cover, and now that everyone has the Internet to look up fashion brands, you should add some high-class touches! Copyrighting can be a bitch, but just change a few of the vectors—you'll be fine.

There just wasn't enough ink drip in the original. Also gotta pay homage to the spray cans and queue the street art stencil. Hopefully no lawsuit from Mr.Brainwash on the bite.
