Tyga recently shared a photo on Instagram of himself next to what he says is his first art piece. The large-scale painting features what appear to be various Egyptian symbols (snakes, the Eye of Horus, an ankh, etc.) and is inspired by the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Naturally, the comments on the art work range from "That's some G shit," to "Haha what's with rappers trying to paint, this looks like one of @snoopdogg paintings u guys should paint together." We think it's cool to see musicians dabble in other creative outlets. Basquiat's influence in hip-hop has already been well-documented, but we're curious to see if Tyga sticks with the #ArtLife or if this is just a one-off.
