Kendall Jenner Talks About Her Lifelong Dream of Becoming a Model in This New 'GQ' Cover Story

This profile piece captures a hectic moment in Kendall's life during Paris Fashion Week.

For her cover story in the new issue of GQ, Kendall Jenner spoke with Zach Baron during Paris Fashion Week about her burgeoning career as a model and what it was like to be one of the stars of the popular reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians as a young child.

"I didn't do it because I felt like I had to prove something," said Kendall about modeling. She doesn't remember life before the show because she was only 10 when it started, but she says that being a model was always the dream, not being a reality television star. "This is a career that I've always wanted. And I mean, what else would I be doing? I probably would have gone to school to get the degree to go to work, when work was already there."

Kendall also said that she kept that part of her life separate from the show. "I told them from the beginning, I was like, 'Okay, love you guys, but we're not gonna do this. You're not gonna follow me to shows, you're not gonna be with me on this ride."
