Instead of going the traditional paper-and-pencil route, Marcus Byrne thought of an ingenius way to create a font by light painting with his iPhone and captured the photos with his Canon 5D. By using a 3.5 second exposure in a dark room, Byrne was able to get clear shots of the letters and transferred them to his computer to build his suite. We've seen people do some really cool stuff with light painting like create the world's largest light painting photograph, but this project is both fun and useful. Byrne has made the font which he calls Phone Streak available for free on DaFont.com
