Elusive street artist Banksy resurfaced this week with three new murals and a video shot while the artist was undercover in Gaza City. As is the case with a lot of Banksy's art, the imagery is playful but is meant as commentary on very serious world and political issues.
Inspired by the murals and installations to create playful art of his own, photographer Jeff Friesen has been recreating Banksy's works using Lego blocks and minifigures for over a year, and he recently released this new set that includes toy versions of pieces from the street artist's "Better Out Than In" residency in New York City as well as other murals from around the world.

Each of the photos has a smaller picture of the original mural placed in the corner that is a little hard to see, but it's more fun to try and figure the art out for yourself. To see more of Friesen's recreations, head over to The Brick Fantastic.
