Following its Advanced XT-Quest 2 collaboration with Parisian retailer The Broken Arm earlier this year, Salomon has returned to release two new in-house colourways of the vintage hiking silhouette.

Released in “Black/Ebony/Frost Grey” and “Vanilla Ice/Rainy Day”, both pairs combine vintage design cues and urban-engineered technicality to create an offering that is built for lifestyle purposes and challenging environments. This is achieved by using traction and stability-enhancing technology in the sole unit—allowing optimum efficiency on the trails—and an upper which houses a heavy-duty toe cap.

Both mesh and nubuck details pay homage to Y2K hiking shoe styles, while quick-lacing eyelets, rope lacing, and an overall lightweight approach ensure that the shoe meets all the demands for today’s hiking needs. Further details include a Contragrip outsole and a 4D Advanced Chassis which is integrated into the midsole and readied in tonal carbon fiber finishes across both styles.

You can cop the Salomon XT-QUEST 2 ADVANCED in “Black/Ebony/Frost Grey” and “Vanilla Ice/Rainy Day” now from Salomon’s webstore and select retailers including The Broken Arm.salomon-xt-quest-2-advance-2salomon-xt-quest-2-advance-3salomon-xt-quest-2-advance-4salomon-xt-quest-2-advance-5
